I have spent forty four years in education: 39 in primary schools including 25 as a head teacher and learner, and the last six as a university tutor for Initial Teacher Training during which I have visited around 40 schools. I was been trained by Ofsted as a schools inspector around ten years ago and briefly worked in that role.
I have been Chair of Governors of a large primary school and am a governor of a high school.
